Halim Flowers as 2025/26 Obama Foundation USA Leader

We are so proud and excited to learn that our artist Halim Flowers will be participating in the Obama Foundation as one of the 2025-2026 USA Leaders Program!
It is such a honor to be chosen as one of the few leaders to represent this non profit. Over the next six months, he will be diving into the Foundation’s ‘Hope to Action’ curriculum, which will permit Halim to transform his artistry from the studio into the fields of democracy, civic engagement, education, climate change, and business.
“I am thankful that the little boy [image shown below] had the audacity to hope for the evidence of the unseen in the midst of endless darkness .. Now it is time for the man onstage to bend his will humbly for the next generation of forgotten children to stand on to see past their impossibilities” (Halim Flowers).
We are grateful to have discovered Halim Flowers’ talent early on in his creative career. Since partnering with Halim, he has created a large collection of works that we have available and on display across our four gallery locations.
Similarly, we published a hardcover book with the artist, ‘Love is the Vaccine,’ that both shares his life-story and displays his artistic endeavours.
