Miguel Osuna is a contemporary Mexican-born painter celebrated for his expressive abstract works shaped by movement, emotion, and an architect’s eye for structure. Born and raised in Mexico, Osuna studied architecture before relocating to Los Angeles, a city whose vastness and rhythm would later become central to his visual language. After years working in architectural design across multiple industries, Osuna shifted fully into painting in 2002, following a formative creative period in Buenos Aires. His practice has since evolved into an ongoing exploration of abstraction rooted in memory, motion, and sensory experience.
Osuna’s paintings, often created in response to specific pieces of music, embody a dynamic interplay between gesture and restraint.
