Palm Beach, FL — With the busy season in Palm Beach, Florida in full swing, we are excited to announce for all of our local collectors, vacationers and loyal fans, that Kozo will be joining us in the gallery for a solo exhibition on February 12th. For his first showcase in Palm Beach with us, the artist has been working on stunning new mixed media works on paper and canvas that will debut for the first time, along with pieces from his beloved, top-selling series, and more. Kozo will be in attendance at the exhibition, eager to meet his coastal admirers and welcome old and new collectors.

Eden Kozokaro, professionally known as Kozo, is a contemporary artist and globally recognized tattoo innovator whose micro-realism style has reshaped both the fine-art and tattoo worlds. Born in 1990s Israel and now based in Brooklyn, New York, Kozo has become one of the most influential young artists of his generation. His practice bridges the precision of classical draftsmanship with the immediacy of pop culture, bringing together centuries-old artistic discipline and the visual language of today.

Kozo’s creative roots run deep. At just seventeen, he picked up a tattoo machine for the first time and devoted himself to learning the craft independently. Over the next few years, he honed a style defined by extraordinary control, velvety gradients, and meticulous detail and became an esteemed tattoo artist at Bang Bang tattoo studio in New York. He drew in a long list of celebrity clients, including Justin Bieber and Katy Perry, and stands out as one of the most talented micro-needle tattoo artists of his time.

In recent years, Kozo has returned to his original love of painting and drawing, translating his tattoo compositions back into traditional mediums such as canvas and paper. His fine art demonstrates the same expressive clarity, precision, and minimalism that made him famous in tattooing, offering collectors one-of-a-kind works that balance hyper-refined technique with emotional resonance. His influences range from Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Jacques-Louis David to Korean contemporary artists and global pop culture; he draws inspiration from travel, discipline, and the belief that simplicity can hold profound meaning.

Kozo’s rapid ascent in the fine-art world has been marked by major collaborations and institutional attention. Kozo’s first fine-art representation is with DTR Modern Galleries, where he debuted his inaugural solo exhibition at the National Arts Club in New York in 2024, followed by a second presentation at DTR Boston in 2025. His rapid rise, fueled by a devoted global following, celebrity clientele, and collaborations such as his 2024 capsule project with Maison Margiela, has quickly positioned him as one of the most compelling emerging voices in contemporary art. Collectors can explore Kozo’s original and limited-edition works across all four DTR Modern Galleries locations in New York City, Boston, Palm Beach, and Washington, D.C.
