Slonem is a maestro of repetition—each bunny, bird, or butterfly not a mere motif but a mantra. He paints in the golden-lit hours of morning prayer, often completing multiple canvases before the rest of us have taken our first sip of coffee. His studio is a sanctuary of maximalism, filled with antique frames, exotic birds, and historical echoes—a world as whimsical and ungovernable as the work itself. There is no draftsmanship here, only divine transmission. Each mark is direct, intuitive, unfiltered—a communion between artist and canvas, memory and motion.
