DTR Modern, a contemporary art staple in downtown Boston, opens an outpost on Nantucket. Collectors will now have a place to acquire new and exciting works from postwar and contemporary artists while visiting Nantucket this season. DTR Modern opens a 3,000-square-foot gallery space housed in a blue, two-story history property. It’s a mere five-minute walk from the ferry. This will be the first and only gallery to bring street art–including Mr. Brainwash, Banksy and Campbell La Pun–to the island.
